celebrate the little things in life....
1) 5pm every weekday
2) 10th of every month
3) sitting down at coffeebean, chitchat, and watch the world go by
4) digging into a sumptuous supper after skipping dinner
5) swimming on a very hot day
6) playing sports, sweat like mad, go for a shower
7) playing card games with a group of people who can't seem to stop talking nonsense
8) being involved in part of a move in a team sport which results in a point/goal
9) relaxing at home occasionally
10) finally getting something you really like and have eyed for a long time

someone told me to pls shut this dysfunctional blog down... but NOOOOOOO.... it'll be staying.....
recently there was the case of a few nsfs who passed away while on duty in taiwan, i really feel that they are very unlucky because they were not even doing training at that time... rather they were only in the storeroom!!! but what really brought me to attention to this accident was that one of them is my third degree(yes friendster style) friend. makes me wonder... what if i knew that person directly... i mean if he is my first degree(ya la friendster style la) friend... how would i be reacting? touchwood touchwood touchwood. but theres every chance anything might happen... accidents dun choose who they happen to.... touchwood again. damn why am i feeling so despondent now. ok aniwae to all my wonderful friends reading this post.. YES YOU!!!! I APPRECIATE and TREASURE ALL OF YOU VERY MUCH!!! especially those who have left footprints in my heart and lightened up my life... omg cant believe im doing this haha...
oh yar on a much brighter note i've already ord-ed since the last post... been working for the past months wif qiangze at two different places. he's a super tok cok buddy of mine. i seriously wonder how many people we've irritated with our nonsensical conversations which ranges from self declaring to become the enforcers of the company, finding our true love, to how the OLs in office just wanna hook us and wan a piece of us, to how we plan to seduce gays in the company, 'tian wai fei xians' , listening to 'holy' songs, talking about scriptures, confucius studies, creating our imaginary friends, wasabi peanuts, chee hong kias, shy geishas, lame jokes, couch potatoes, mambo, creating bizarre love triangles for each other with other colleagues, and also our extraordinary capabilities of twisting facts to our own advantage. although we both loved a good laugh, there was a limit to what we would do. theres always the border of being REALLY MEAN which we definitely would not cross. whos to forget how righteous we were when we were both damn pissed off at two other temp staff who were trying to bully another 'mentally slow' temp staff, trying to make him a laughing stock by instigating him to approach izy. guess why we could click so well is because of our similar characters.
was talking to thia my fellow defender in soccer and he said that it feels real good to keep a clean sheet. agree with that... probably defender's mentality... i share my team mate's joy when a goal is scored..... of cos scoring myself would be a big bonus haha... thats what i love about team sports.. the unity and spirit that the team shares in reaching a common goal. afterall this is one sport which makes grown men cry, hug and kiss each other and still not appear gay. been playing field soccer more regularly recently. feels good to be back on the field, gives me the feeling of freedom. theres the adidas ad that goes "every hero needs a team" and "every team needs a hero". im one who believes that every hero needs a team. whats one man against the opponents 11. insignificant. no player is too big for the team.
school's slowly but surely reopening...hmmm honestly im not too looking for it because i can picture the studying environment in campus on my mind already... but nevertheless im ready to pull up my socks and do my best. its another phase in life after army... growing up is scary in a way...
