back after a one week trip to china wif my parents, my auntie and my two cousins... went to the jiangnan area which includes hangzhou, suzhou, nanjing, wuxi, and shanghai... enjoyed myself thoroughly there though i didn't go on a shopping spree like my mother and "sis"(female cousin) did.. to say that the weather was cold was an understatement as the temperature fluctuated between 0 to 7 degrees throughout the week.. even managed to catch some light snow one night at the shanghai hotel.. looking at the snow falling from the hotel room was a beautiful sight to behold.. chionged downstairs wif my cousins to experience the feeling of falling snow on your head.. got a chance to light fire crackers on chinese new year eve.. didn't realise how fun it could be until i finally got a chance to light it myself.. even the adults in my tour group were having so much fun that they started behaving like kids while playing with the fire crackers.. haha... aniway, fireworks were a common sight in china as even the civillians could light it themselves... we were treated to a spectacle of fireworks in wuxi.. simply breathtaking sight.. every corner had colourful fireworks exploding at the stroke of midnight on chinese new year.. the two foot and body massages, with no special services i must mention, there were relaxing, though at first my foot felt ticklish..

food there was generally salty and oily.. every meal was served with two bottles of light beer.. i must admit that i drank more beer than water over at china, but luckily the beer was light beer, otherwise i would have gotten drunk very soon.. the hotels we stayed in were not exceptionally outstanding, but there were acceptable.. roomed with my "bro" (male cousin).. every time we checked into one hotel we would rush into the room to check out the tv channels for sports channels.. and most of the time we were not disappointed.. grew closer to both my cousins during this trip becos i roomed wif bro, while on the bus to the other cities and plane to and fro i sat wif sis.. on the trip back to singapore, chit chatted wif her for the full 5 hours.. talked about my childhood days when i stayed at their house until 6 or 7 years old because my auntie took care of me when i was young.. realised a lot more things about myself that happened when i was so young that i had recollections about at all.. quite interesting and embarrassing.. shall not list them here..

compared to 10 yrs ago when i went to china.. it has definitely become a more advanced country by leaps and bounds.. the toilet in one of the hotels in nanjing even had a small tv above the urinal so u could watch tv while peeing.. how cool is that man.. the bright lights of shanghai at night definitely thrash singapore's night view.. wonder how much they spend on electricity bills.. as for the less advanced cities like hangzhou, the natural scenery more than makes up for the lack of technology there.. the lakes, the hills and the stones are images that will live in my mind for a long time to come.. as for the other type of "view", the girls there are becoming stylish chicks.. even fully clothed in winter wear, i saw quite a lot who looked damn trendy and attractive la... my bro was so attracted to one of them that he wanted to take a photo with this double pony tail girl.. we were in this highest building in china when he saw that girl and said she was an aiyoyoyoyoyo( aiyo means pretty girl in some parts of china.. aiyoyo means pretty pretty girl.. so the more yo means the more pretty she is.. u get the idea la).. so i told him to go and take a photo with her la.. he said later lar if they are fated we would see her outside the tower again.. and in the end we realli saw them again but he was too paiseh to go and ask her for a photo.. in the end he tried to capture her pic usingh is camera phone but failed.. i bet thats his biggest regret for the trip la!! but he claimed the picture is kept in his mind.. so its ok.. haha.. wtf man.. but that also makes a bit of sense lar...

yeah so briefly thats about it for my trip to china.. realli enjoyed myself.. sort of miss the cold weather.. the scenery.. the bright lights.. the food.. and the aiyoyos!
